A mother earns her high school equivalency diploma while her family has a warm, safe place to live. A battered wife and daughter find sanctuary and are able to re-build their lives. They are Amos House residents. Founded in 1986, Amos House has “been there” to provide transitional housing for homeless families. This residential 501c3 non-profit aims to help its residents find permanent housing and improve the quality of their lives, ensuring participants become independent and able to sustain a sufficient working and living situation.
