The Jericho Partnership began in 1999 as a project to renovate a derelict 1800s factory on Maple Avenue in Danbury, Ct., for its owners, Cambodian New Life Evangelical Church, and several independent Christian agencies in need of ministry space. Hundreds of volunteers from local congregations spent seven years investing talent and back-breaking labor in the transformation of Jericho House.
As the project progressed, a vision emerged for a Christ-centered charitable organization that would bind together these and other word-and-deed ministries to form an ongoing collaborative serving those in need and demonstrating what it means to live uncompromisingly for the glory of God. The Jericho Partnership was born, and 501c3 status was awarded in 2006.
