Imagine a middle school for at-risk boys where the small class size and personal attention lays a solid foundation that allows them to thrive in high school and advanced educational experiences, and prepares them for a successful life of hope and meaning. That is Pathways Academy. Affiliated with the National Association of Street Schools (www.streetschools.org), Pathways Academy will open its doors in September 2008 as part of the Jericho Samaritan Center. (Read more about the Samaritan Center). It will have a 10:1 class ratio and teachers who care deeply for the welfare of the students and are committed to their success in every area of life.
