Join a band of prayer warriors on the second Wednesday of each month from noon to 2 p.m. in Jericho Partnership's Wilberforce Prayer Chapel at 13 Rose St. You can join for any length of time, or pray during your home or workplace lunch hour. Prayer Walks in downtown DanburyJericho Partnership's prayer ministry organizes prayer walks through a two-block loop in downtown Danbury. Teams of intercessors walk along the city's streets praying quietly for people they see or who are in buidlings they pass, including City Hall, the hospital and police headquarters. The annual Western Connecticut Prayer Breakfast (www.wcprayerbreakfast.org) provides a unique gathering of the community at large and the community of faith to hear national and international inspirational speakers. Individuals pray for elected officials, first responders, employers and employees and nonprofits in the region.
The Spring breakfast is neither a fundraiser nor platform. We meet in the spirit of Jesus Christ, to be inspired and challenged, to thank our leaders and tell them we stand with them, and to seek God's blessing on our community.
The theme of the breakfast is "Helping Build Healthy Communities," with a goal of building bridges between the business and governmental communities and evangelical congregations.
