PATHWAYS DANBURY 2011/2012 GRADUATING CLASSThe Pathways Danbury Mentoring Ministry was launched in 1997 as a Christ-centered, one-on-one mentoring ministry focused on “at-risk” boys during their middle and high school experience. |
MINISTRY PROFILEJericho Partnership is a collaboration of a 10 Christ-centered ministries, 21 churches, two private foundations and more than 2,000 active volunteers serving the youth, at-risk and homeless populations of Danbury, Conn. Jericho supplies funds, facilities, volunteers and administrative assistance to the ministries, and is one of Danbury's largest social service agencies in terms of grants. |
SPRING STREETJericho Partnership has established a permanent presence at and partnership with St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Spring Street, a neighborhood often associated with drugs, crime and prostitution. Jericho is mobilizing large numbers of volunteers to physically demonstrate the power of Jesus Christ to transform lives, families, the Spring Street neighborhood and the community of Danbury, Conn.

CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRIESCCOM is a broad-based ministry in Danbury, Conn., offering support and resources to individuals and families in crises. This Jericho Partnership partner ministry's programs include Bible studies, 12-Steps-To-Faith meetings, women's groups, entry-level job-training classes and transitional living for men moving back into society after completing a substance abuse rehabilitation program. |
DISCIPLESHIP HOUSEDiscipleship House in Danbury, Conn., is an 18-month residential living program for men coming out of a long-term treatment facility and transitioning back into family and society. Up to a dozen residents are provided a safe, structured and nurturing environment as they move toward personal wholeness with a dependence on God. The goal is to help residents make a smooth transition into society as healthy, productive men. Discipleship House is a ministry of Christian Community Outreach Ministries, which is a ministry partner of Jericho Partnership. |
PATHWAYS ACADEMYPathways Academy is a Christ-centered educational facility for at-risk middle-school-aged boys in Danbury, Conn. Its goals include helping close the city's achievement gap and high school dropout rates by providing a quality, faith-based education that in turn produces real hope. The academy is a ministry partner of Jericho Partnership. |
