Be a 2 Percenter! It's been said that 2 percent of a population investing time, expertise, talent and treasure will transform a community. Want to be counted in that number? In metro Danbury, that 2 percent equals roughly 3,000 individuals. That's the number of Spirit-filled volunteers Jericho Partnership is seeking -- a force of individuals, families and small groups serving Danbury's youth, homeless and other at-risk populations in the power and love of Jesus Christ. Volunteer opportunities include prayer partners, tutors, mentors, board members and event planners for individuals; soup kitchen service, street cleaning, carpentry and maintenance and youth missions planning and oversight for small groups; and Thanksgiving meal and back-to-school event planning and support, food pantry support and meal and snack preparation for families. For more information on how to be a 2 Percenter and part of Jericho's outreach to transform individual lives, families, streets, neighborhoods and the city, contact us at volunteer@jerichopartnership.org

Wish you could volunteer for a mission trip but have no time because of family or other obligations? Try looking in your own back yard for mission opportunities you can squeeze into your busy schedule.
And while you're at it, why not involve your entire family, youth group, men's or women's group or Bible study?
Jericho will coordinate individual, family and small-group projects in urban Danbury ranging from food drives to helping at our homeless shelter to sorting through donated clothing. Maybe not the glamour of foreign travel, but the same life-transforming potential.
Projects can take an hour or two or up to half a day or more, and can range from light effort for families with small children to heavier work for men's groups. And you'll be part of the transformation of lives and families in need of Christ's love.
