COVID-19 Crisis Updates:

DURING THIS TIME OF INCREASED NEED AT OUR PANTRY, WE’RE ACCEPTING BOTH NON-PERISHABLES (TUNA, SOUP, PASTA, SAUCE, PEANUT BUTTER, JELLY, BABY FOOD, ETC) AND PERISHABLES (CHICKEN, BEEF, PORK, AND NON-MEAT PROTEINS SUCH AS QUINOA, BEANS, TOFU) NO-CONTACT DROP OFF AT 22 MAPLE AVE., MONDAYS - THURSDAYS, 9:00 AM TO 6:00 PM. FOOD IS DISTRIBUTED ON FRIDAYS. THANK YOU!

ALSO, BECAUSE WE’RE ALLOCATING OUR SPACE AND RESOURCES TO THE FOOD PANTRY, WE’RE NOT OPERATING OUR CLOTHING BANK AT THIS TIME, SO WE’VE SUSPENDED TAKING DONATIONS.

No family in Danbury CT should worry about where their next meal will come from, or whether they’ll have a coat when winter comes.

Jericho’s food pantry and clothing bank ensures that our neighbors are fed and clothed. Located at 22 Maple Ave., this vital resource serves approximately 150 families in the nine-street, low-income neighbor that spreads out around Spring Street.

Families are served through a voucher system that provides them with the staples they need; in most cases, families visit the pantry once a month and the clothing bank every season. We’re open to any need, however, at any time.

Jericho is part of the Danbury Food Collaborative, but also welcomes donations of both food and clothing. Of greatest need are NON-EXPIRED donations of: canned tuna, dried or canned beans, peanut butter, canned soups, oatmeal, healthy cereal, brown/white rice, pasta, pasta sauces, macaroni & cheese.

We accept donations of non-perishable food and gently-used clothing at 22 Maple Ave. Best hours:

Monday - 8:30 am to noon, 1:30 to 5:00 pm
Tuesday - 8:30 am to noon, 1:30 to 5:00 pm
Wednesday - 8:30 am to noon, 1:30 to 5:00 pm
Thursday - 8:30 am to noon, 1:30 to 5:00 pm
